Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – Disney+ (12 November)

The MCU Phase 4’s smash hit, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has finally landed on Disney+. The film’s theatrical release window is finally up, and the film is now available on Disney’s streaming platform.

Red Notice (12 November)

The anticipated action-heist-comedy starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot premiered on Netflix on Friday.

Despite a massive budget and three global mega-stars, Red Notice has received mostly negative reviews.

Tick, Tick… Boom! (12 November)

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s feature directorial debut premiered at AFI Fest on 10 November before beginning a limited release on 12 November.

Tick, Tick… Boom! stars Andrew Garfield and is set to begin streaming on Netflix on 19 November 2021.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife – Final Trailer (8 November)

The final trailer for the massively anticipated Ghostbusters: Afterlife has released ahead of its 19 November release date.

The final trailer finally offers a fleeting glimpse of the original team’s return in the sequel, as well as showcasing numerous links to both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, as well as The Real Ghostbusters.

Silent Night (10 November)

Upcoming black comedy Silent Night got its first trailer this week. The film will star Keira Knightley, who is set to lead an impressive ensemble cast, and will tell the story of an extended family coming together for Christmas as they anticipate the end of the world.

Silent Night is currently set to release on 3 December 2021.

Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild – Teaser Trailer (12 November)

A teaser trailer for The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild was released as part of Disney+ Day.

The spin-off is set to star Simon Pegg as Buck Wild and is currently slated for a January 2022 release.

Sneakerella (12 November)

Disney also dropped the official trailer for Sneakerella, a re-imagining of Cinderella.

Sneakerella is due to release on Disney+ on 18 February 2022.

Dave Bautista & Jason Momoa To Star In Buddy Cop Comedy (12 November)

Dave Bautista originally pitched the idea on social media back in August, but it seems to be going ahead: Bautista and Momoa will be making a buddy cop comedy in the style of Lethal Weapon. Bautista most recently shared that MGM have won the bidding war to back the film.

Paul Rudd Named 2021’s Sexiest Man Alive (10 November)

Paul Rudd has been named 2021’s “Sexiest Man Alive” by People. The 52-year-old actor is best known in recent years for his turn as Scott Lang (A.K.A. Ant-Man) in the MCU, but he first achieved mainstream success in 1995’s Clueless.

Rudd’s Clueless co-star, Alicia Silverstone, even took to Twitter to congratulate him.

Jake Gyllenhaal In Talks To Star In Road House Reboot (11 November)

Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks to star in a reboot of beloved 1989 action film Road House. The original famously starred Patrick Swayze, and Gyllenhaal is being touted to lead the reboot, with Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) in talks to direct.

It’s claimed that MGM are treating the Road House reboot as a high priority, although it’s reported that the film is still in the writing stages at present.
