3. Mission: Impossible
In many ways, the Mission: Impossible franchise is continuing to improve, despite being over two decades old and seven films deep (and counting). By upping the ante with each new entry and showing a clear willingness to constantly improve upon previous movies, it’s one of cinema’s most respected action franchises. Tom Cruise’s insistence upon risking his life to capture incredible stunts on camera is also admirable, and contributes massively to the franchise’s stellar reputation.
