In some of the weirdest show biz news of recent years, former Bond Girl Tanya Roberts’ death was prematurely announced by her rep, Mike Pingel.

Roberts is known for her work in James Bond movie A View to a Kill, TV show Charlies Angels, and sitcom That ’70s Show.

On December 24, 2020, Roberts collapsed at her home, and was rushed to hospital, where she was later placed on a ventilator.

On January 3, 2021, it was reported by TMZ that Roberts had passed away, after a press release from her representatives.

I was then reported that Roberts was, in fact, alive. Pingel, Roberts’ representative, was told by her partner, Lance O’Brien, that the actress had died in his arms, prompting the premature press release.

Roberts died within a day of the initial announcement, and her death was announced the following day. She is survived by her partner, Lance O’Brien.
