Mealtimes are usually a chance for a family to get together. An age-old tradition, human beings sharing food is a time-honored opportunity for bonding. However, for some reason, many movie meals seem to be completely disastrous.

6. Unwanted Advances – Back To The Future (1985)
In the grand scheme of things, there’s only one person that this infamous dinner scene is disastrous for. After traveling back in time, Marty McFly accidentally tampers with history by becoming involved in the lives of his young parents. When his own mother nurses him back to health, she develops a crush on the young man, completely unaware that he’s her son.
What ensues is one of the most uncomfortable dinners of all time. Marty sits down with his mother, his grandparents, his aunt, and his uncles, then proceeds to put his foot firmly in his mouth with his ramblings about things they have no concept of. Though the rest of the family consider him odd, Lorraine is smitten. Too smitten, in fact.
It’s heavily implied that Lorraine gropes Marty, seizing her own son’s manhood in what we’ll assume is a romantic gesture. Marty simply can’t leave quick enough, though his troubles certain don’t end there. We’re certain there were years of therapy waiting for him upon returning to his own time.
