5. The Parr Family – The Incredibles
Superpowers? Secret identities? What’s not to love about the Parr family in The Incredibles?
Maybe this one’s an obvious pick, because it basically comes with a ticket to being a superhero. However, even putting aside the notion that we’d get powers if we were part of the Parr family, they’re still a pretty great bunch. Bob and Helen are, quite literally, superparents: Helen stretches herself thin keeping the house in order while Bob forces himself to work a job he hates just to ensure his family’s safety.
Even after they allow their children to engage in heroic activities, they remain excellent role models. In a family who are outsiders by their very nature, Bob and Helen do their best to accept their children exactly the way they are and celebrate their unique gifts. The Parrs are all so protective toward one another, and that’s got to be worth tolerating the occasional flaming baby.
