4. The Baker Family – Cheaper By The Dozen
Almost every only child has wished for siblings at some point, but 12? Maybe that’s a few too many. If you were a part of the Baker family, though, you’d find that you were the 13th child. Assuming, of course that you didn’t supplant one of their existing children. That would be weird.
Cheaper by the Dozen doesn’t exactly make the Bakers’ lives look like a dream. In fact, it looks a lot like you’d imagine a 14-person household to look like: chaotic, cramped, and occasionally difficult. Even so, we’d secretly love to be one of the Bakers.
For starters, who wouldn’t want the hilarious Steve Martin for a dad? But what’s more, Tom and Kate prove time and again that they’re true family people. They find a way to love and cherish each of their 12 children so completely that including them on this list was a no-brainer. They also had a super cool house, so bonus points there.
