1. The Weasley Family – Harry Potter
Alright, so we might have once called Harry Potter an overrated movie franchise, and we stand by that. However, it does boast perhaps the most wholesome of all movie families, and that’s something we can’t deny. How could our top pick have been any other family than the Weasleys?
They might not have much money, but look at what they do have. Bulletproof redheaded genes, a totally bitchin’ magic house, and the sweetest, most lovable parents ever created. In fact, the Weasley family essentially exist just to highlight what a family should be to the poor orphaned Harry, and that’s exactly why we’d want to be one of them over anyone else.
Of course, the whole magic thing certainly sweetens the pot. But even so, if you were a Weasley you’d get to pull pranks with Fred and George (pre-Deathly Hallows at least), study with Percy, or tame dragons with Charlie. You’d get to fly around in Mr. Weasley’s car and eat breakfast cooked by Mrs. Weasley, who would love you more than life itself. Honestly, it’s sickening just how much we want to be among the Weasleys, and that exactly what makes them the most wholesome of movie families.
