6. Deck The Halls (2006)

For anyone who has actually seen Deck the Halls, its inclusion on this list won’t be surprising. However, for those that haven’t, it may well look like a good wholesome film for the family. In reality, it’s another of those “family” Christmas movies that isn’t suitable for kids.
Its premise is simple. Two vastly different but equally dysfunctional festive families end up locked in a battle of the bulbs, each attempting to outdo the others’ display of Christmas lights. With an all-star cast, a seemingly inoffensive premise, and a family-friendly rating, Deck the Halls seems like one to watch with the kids, doesn’t it?
Well, it isn’t. It features an inexplicable scene in which the two fathers inadvertently sexually objectify their own daughters, and the entire film follows two grown men who neglect their families and are unimaginably petty. In other words, it’s hardly one for the little ones to enjoy.
