6. Deadpool 3
As the only MCU movie set to arrive within the next 12 months, Deadpool 3 is one of the most anticipated movies of 2024. The film will see Ryan Reynolds reprise his role as the titular Marvel Comics character, with Hugh Jackman also set to return as Wolverine in a comic-accurate costume. The film will tie the previous Deadpool movies to the MCU proper, finally introducing the X-Men into the franchise. Deadpool 3 is set for release on July 26.
5. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will continue on from the events of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, further tying together the two eras of the franchise. In the sequels, Ghostbusters new and old join forces in New York City in hopes of stopping a malevolent force known as the Death Chill from plunging the world into another ice age. The stars of Afterlife are all set to reprise their roles, and will be joined by newcomers Patton Oswalt and Kumail Nanjiani upon the film’s March 29 release.
