1. Indiana Jones – The Indiana Jones Franchise
There are few movie characters as iconic as Indiana Jones. And, as it turns out, there are few luckier. To put it simply, the notion that this action-driven archaeologist somehow survives all his exploits is genuinely mind-boggling.
Listing every specific example of every stroke of luck Indy has would fill a list all its own. But just the plot of Raiders of the Lost Ark alone indicates that he’s undoubtedly one of the luckiest men on Earth. Not only does he stumble across the Ark, but he survives an encounter with it, which is far more than most other characters managed. He also recovers the Holy Grail after fluking his way through the various trials leading to its location. Basically, he’s all-round lucky in just about every way.
Some theories suggest that his regular brushes with divine power have made him invincible. Others think it’s just that he’s a quick-thinking action hero. Regardless, any person who has the looks and the intelligence of Indiana Jones and also comes through their every escapade unscathed must be one of the luckiest movie heroes ever written.
