7. Milo Ventimiglia – Rocky Balboa (2006)

The Rocky franchise is made up of more than just all-time classic sports drama, but also touching character-driven stories. As such, most of its characters are pretty memorable. Most, but not all.
Though it’s one of the most beloved films in the franchise, 2006’s Rocky Balboa featured Milo Ventimiglia in an incredibly forgettable turn as the Italian Stallion’s estranged son. This massive movie role notwithstanding, Ventimiglia is remembered mostly as a TV actor. With major roles in Heroes, Gilmore Girls, and This is Us, Ventimiglia has found far more lasting success on the small screen, it seems.
It should probably go without saying that Ventimiglia’s character is far from the focus of Rocky Balboa, but he’s still a major part of the film. Even so, he’s just not memorable in the role, and lacks the leading-man charm he has on TV. As strange as it may sound, Ventimiglia’s talents seem to lie in TV roles rather than in film.
