6. Count Dracula
For this entry, we’re looking specifically at the version from 1992’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula, played by Gary Oldman. Defending one of the most infamous movie monsters of all time is no mean feat, but we’re going to rise to the challenge. As much as Dracula is responsible for countless murders over multiple centuries, we still think he’s pretty likable.
First off, he’s the owner of an incredible castle. That alone makes him a friend worth having, but he’s also a pretty good host. He “shares” his brides with Jonathan Harker, feeds him, plies him with wine. All in all, pretty friendly behavior, until his vampiric nature gets the better of him.
Oldman’s Dracula is a distinctly charming figure, and that much is undeniable. He also boasts a pretty incredible flair for fashion after travelling to the New World, and this particularly dapper blood sucker is an all-out charmer when it comes to the ladies. Basically, we’d almost be willing to risk becoming a walking juice box if we’d met Oldman’s especially charming version of Dracula, so he must be pretty likable, right?
